dominic loves swimming!

harrison hot springs

we went to harrison hot springs with the franz family.  

dominic made friends with aunt linda...

...met great-grandson #2 (dominic's still the first!)...

...almost got eaten by a bear...

...decided to join another family...

...and refused to smile for the family photo.

adventures in food

dominic started eating solid foods!  in fact, he went crazy for it:  

he always liked eating, but after a while he would want to go play again

at the end he usually needed a bath

dominic took lots of baths this summer (rarely given by his parents).

new things

dominic ate his first restaurant menu:

of course we went to see all our friends in white rock too.  we walked to the beach...

dominic and theo became bff (can't you tell by the way they're ignoring each other?)...

violet is trying to tell us something...

donnae just wanted to hold him...

and eventually dominic fell asleep in the visscher's back yard:

thanks to the klassens for the highchair - dominic loved it...

pack up & drive

way back in early may, we packed up our little car with stuff & dominic...

...and drove to canada for the summer.  

the whole town of abbotsford came out to greet us...

...and dominic entertained us with his tired-i've-been-driving-way-too-long antics.
